Alex 'JuJu' Martin, building automation software salesman by day and singer/rapper/songwriter by night, was born in Chicago IL, and migrated to Southern California by way of Oklahoma and South Louisiana, in pursuit of career opportunities in mechanical engineering. Once landed in Sunny L.A., his producer and longtime friend Christian 'DeVon' Scott pushed him to take his musical talent more seriously.

As of 2024, Alex dropped his 5th solo single "Ride" that is streaming on all major platforms, by March 2025 he performed at a side venue during SXSW in Austin TX, and has since then dropped his newest single "Take A Number" in August of 2025. Now that Q4 is in full effect, Alex has been booked in Hollywood for performances every month rolling into the new year, while simultaneously finishing up a music video for his latest single "Take A Number". 

Since moving to LA in 2020, he's performed at a variety of venues and special events from the Valley of L.A. down to the beaches of O.C. He even had his R&B hit "Honey" played in clubs like "Treasures" in Las Vegas and the famous "Onyx" in Atlanta. Not to mention performances and song spins in Fort Worth TX (Koe Wetzels Riot Room & Kung Fu Saloon) & Dallas TX (The Candleroom & Los Federales).
